Inner Feelings

| Insert anyone necessary | : Why are you so Cruel and inhumane? Where is your sense of humanity ?!

Ivan looked at the person with a look of disbelief upon his face, shaking his head slowly, “Why am I Cruel? Why am I inhumane? Where is my sense of humanity? That is the same.exact.question I ask to the world,” he started to pace, trying to hold back the tears that caught him by surpise.

He was sick and tired of this same old wretched story, Everyone asking why is he like this, it always has to come down to him and his actions— of course, he’s not denying the fact that he has done horrid things, but do they ever question …why…?

“All my life things have been taken away from me, ripping me away from my happiness—it all stopped when I decided to stand up and fight for what’s mine, that’s how everything stayed in place.”, his eyes breaking down to a sorrowful glare to another face in the crowd who was just like the rest, “You know why I’m cold hearted, why I’m such a villian?…it’s because I do what is necessary, without any sugar-coding or the ‘right way’ solutions, you know why? Because I tried that a long time ago, and guess what that got me,” he said as he waited for the person to guess; the person stayed silent, giving him the que to continue talking, “another invasion in my kingdom…and other stuff that I can’t bare to speak of due to how painful they were,” he said with a sharp tone, turning his back to the figure, just in case he couldn’t hold the tears that were forming thanks to the memories that started to pile up in his thoughts.

“If no one cares about me, I’ll take care of myself, and I swore to myself I will never let myself be hurt by anyone ever again…it’s so easy to point fingers and calling me a vile villian but no one questions why, or not even give a care in the world because they are all so determined to gain a ‘happy ending’ or some sort of personal gain, that no one stops and cares for the other, we’re all naturally selfish”.

He grinned his teeth and clenched his fist, trying to hold in his hatred and desire to lash out, he turned to the person with angry tears rolling down his cheeks that escaped him due to the inability to hold it in any longer, biting his bottom lip to keep from sobbing.

“I take pride in my royal status, my crown, my kingdom…because in my eyes I am the hero! Thanks to me, my people live good life’s and in safety! All this evil I have done is for my people! So they can be together with their families and not lose them the way I did….so yes…for as long as I live, I will forever be The White King, because in my eyes….I’m the person everyone should be adoring and thanking…I am a good person…or at least…that’s what I wish to be….”
