Quinton Lorveth

Born and raised as a slave in a kingdom that sucked the life out of the peasants in order to live a life of luxury, Quinton managed to be a very honorable person, although sometimes hard to be as so when the upper classmen where so cruel and inhumane towards him and his fellow friends and family.
The Kings right hand man, Balthazar Bermuda, was a figure not to be recon with, he was a man that as soon as he spoke to you, you could bet that your life would change forever.
One day he spots Quinton in the courtyard working, and he stops him and talks to him, asking for an introduction, Quinton was preparing for the worse, but to his surprise, the man was speaking to him about successions and uprising. He found it very strange that this man was talking about such things--especially to a slave like him. Balthazar stated that he could make Quinn's dream, in becoming a knight, if he did him a favor in retrieving a legendary sword by the name of Excalibur.
Quinton suspected it was a trap, but it wasn't a choice rather a command. The Excalibur was thought to be a story that parents told children in fairytales.
He makes his way to the so called Excalibur and actually ends up finding it. However it wasn't at all like in the stories, for it had a darker side to it. The Sword was protected by a guardian, by the name of Chrysostom, he states that the sword was a curse that granted power and wealth, but the price was that his life would chance forever. Quinton toke the risk and touched Excalibur, which ended up turning his hands to gold.
It turns out the sword gave him the ability to turn whatever he touches to actual gold.
This lead to Quinton leading an uprising in stopping the corrupt king and accidently becoming the king of the kingdom. Quinton's power went to his head and decided that there needed to be change, for he is the answer to the problem.
He became a king who grew a passion for war and conquering.
He was tired of living a life of people stepping on him and using him like he was nothing...well that will be no more.

If Quinton could change something in his past, it would be to have never have agreed to find Excalibur and be cursed his abilities, for he yearns the human touch; to bring love to his loved ones, not fear of becoming a part of a collection.
